📐 Positioning Techniques
Do NOT over-flex pad – lead wires WILL break! Always support on firm surface.
Prostate Treatment
- Patient SITS on pad placed on perineum
- Sitting causes prostate to drop closer to surface

Cervical Cancer
Patient SITS on pad – positions cervix right above pad for optimal coverage.
Vaginal/Pelvic Floor (Hands-Free)
- Patient lies on bed
- Place square yoga pillow under pelvis/legs
- Drape legs over pillow, legs open
- Wedge pad between pillow and patient
- Tilt pelvis up slightly
- Hands-free – patient can read, relax
Erectile Dysfunction
Patient lies down, loose shorts with underwear (layer between skin and pad). Position penis upward, place pad on area. AVOID heating testicles – could affect testosterone/sperm.
Breast Treatment
Patient lies on back (compresses tissue naturally). Use rice bags (~1.5 lbs) on top for pressure.
Kidney/Back
Slide pad under patient – body weight provides compression.
Saline Bag Technique (Mastectomy/Difficult Areas)
- Layer 1: Patient's skin
- Layer 2: Thin saline bag (~1/4 inch) – NOT covering sensor
- Layer 3: Pad (sensor contacts patient directly)
- Layer 4: Rice bag for pressure
